The Onyx Link Foundation (OLF), under the leadership of His Holiness Elnayyal Abu Groon, succeeded in arranging two Interfaith Conferences in Wales.
The first was in 2018 that documented the values shared by the faith & beliefs communities. The second was in 2019 that documented a faith-based definition of citizenship. The declarations of these two conferences inspired the Welsh Assembly Government to develop a new curriculum (based on the writings of HH Abu Groon) for Religion, Values, and Ethics education in the Welsh schools.
The objective was to promote community cohesion upon morality and active citizenship. The OLF also took the lead in supporting the delivery of this curriculum in Newport schools.
Therefore, the Welsh Assembly Government recommended the work of the OLF to be acknowledged by an invitation to a reception by HM the Queen in Buckenham Palace in June 2019.
